Student Engagement is what you make of it at Thomas More University!
There are many programs and organizations to get involved with here! Participating in activities will not only enrich you as a person but will allow you to develop valuable memories and friends that will last a lifetime. The Student Engagement office provides social, multicultural, entertaining, and educational activities for the campus community. From movies to lectures, cultural celebrations to concerts, service events to cookouts, homecoming events to casino nights, spiritual talks and college traditions, we provide co-curricular activities that enhance students’ experiences at TMU.
All of our programs are student-led and allow students not only to benefit from the content of our programs but to develop lifelong skills that will engage them in their community beyond Thomas More.

Thomas More University Traditions
One way to get involved is delving into school Spirit! Every Fall we celebrate Homecoming with a week of events culminating in an exciting football game and the popular Saint’s Ball.
St. Thomas More Birthday Celebration
Every Spring we celebrate St. Thomas More’s Birthday with two weeks of events! These events include trivia nights, special guest performances, The Annual Lawyers Brunch, art exhibits, All Saints Service Day, The Annual Caden Blincoe Outloud Festival and The Annual Tapestry of Irish History and Culture!
Diversity & Inclusion
Students of all backgrounds and interests engage in conversation, activities, and events to learn about different cultures, significant events in our shared history, and social justice conversations. Ultimately these events, clubs, and organizations engage students in considering their place in the world and global citizenship.
To get involved consider joining: Diversity & Inclusion Club or the International Student Society! Check them out on Twitter here: @DiversityTMC
Join a Club
To join a club attend our Club Fair at the beginning of the year! If you missed that check out our Clubs & Organization roster and contact a member of that organization.
If you are interested in creating a new club or organization contact the Student Government Association.
Relax, Be Inspired, Drink Coffee.
Agape Latte is a monthly series where we invite a faculty or staff member to share a personal story of where their life and spirituality intersect over coffee and snacks. Students of all beliefs attend and are able to share and engage in our community where you find common grounds.
Leadership & Service
Students at Thomas More University experience Servant Leadership in and out of the classroom. There are many events and organizations that promote leadership and service. This includes the Student Activities Board, Student Government Association, Fraternity & Sorority Life among many organizations.
Some of our signature service efforts include:
- MLK Day of Service
- All Saints Service Day
- Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week
