Wednesday: 5-6 p.m. (Kelsey)
Thursday: 4-6 p.m. (Ariel)
The goal of the Writing Center is to help students become better writers. Our peer-consultants go beyond proofreading and editing writing assignments. They work with students to make writing stronger.
Our consulting sessions generally last from 15 to 30 minutes and our peer-consultants are happy to assist writers with any type of writing project.
Ask your friends or professors about the TMU Writing Center; it’s a valuable (and free) resource. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Our 2018-9 peer-consultants come from varied majors including English, History, Art, Humanities, Political Science, History, and International Studies.
If you have any questions about the Writing Center, please contact the Director, Dr. Daoud at 344-3383 or email@example.com.
Our center is available for face-to-face assistance with students seeking help at any stage of the writing process and in any subject area. Scheduled appointments receive priority assistance but drop-ins are always welcome.
If you cannot come to the center during our daytime hours, you may seek help by using the Smarthinking online tutoring service. The link can be found on Canvas. When a student opens the course tiles, click the file menu on the left of the page and scroll down to the link.
- Additional tutoring assistance is also available through the Thomas More University Success Center, located in the TMU Library. For more information, please contact John Ernst at firstname.lastname@example.org.
